Remote and hybrid work options have become accepted as permanent options, not just temporary solutions, across a wide range of industries. Higher education is no exception. Now, the conversation has shifted toward creating positive remote experiences for faculty and staff as well as students.
As more higher education workers seek to embrace models that don’t require them to be on campus all the time, universities and colleges must decide how to accommodate them. That requires asking big questions, says Roy Mathew, a Deloitte principal who leads the higher education consulting practice.
