They make the world accessible to a variety of people and they make everyday life easier for everyone. In education, students should have access to learning that meets their needs and makes their lives easier in the same way.
The Universal Design for Learning framework supports learning for all students. While historically it was considered a framework for teaching students with disabilities, UDL has proved its merit in reaching all types of students.
